KMGBC requires that all families put in volunteer hours.  We need volunteers to help raise money during our Lake Country Girls Basketball League that we host, and the Sweetheart Basketball Tournament we host. These are the two main sources of income for our Club that allow us to keep the annual fees low and don't require us to do any personal fundraising!

This year, each family has the option to volunteer for two shifts in the concessions at the LCGBA games on a Sunday between now and February,  OR, for one shift at the Sweetheart Tournament in February.  Volunteering for either event will fulfill your volunteer requirement for KMGBC.  Note if you have more than one player in the Club, you will need volunteer hours for each player in your family.

You must be at least 14 years old to volunteer in the front concessions, and at least 17 years old to volunteer in the food prep in the back.

Have you been considering volunteering to be part of the KM Girls Basketball Club?  Advisory Board members are expected to make a commitment to attend all monthly board meetings.  Board positions are a two-year commitment from April 1 (or on the date of the application being accepted) through March 31st of that two year term. All applications will be reviewed and voted on by the current board membership.  Thank you very much for your interest in our program.  We can't run this Club without great volunteers, so in order to show the appreciation for the time and dedication of our volunteers we offer a FREE spiritwear item for all board members and coaches every year.  Check out the Board positions and let us know if you'd be interested in learning more about any of them!
